Leica Disto A2
The DISTO A2 is compact, easy to use and is the general tool version of the range, designed especially for indoor measuring. Features include:
- Distance measuring from 5 centimetres to 60 metres
- Measurement accuracy to within 1.5mm
- Distance tracking (continuous measuring)
- Calculator functions for addition and subtraction of measurements
- Calculates areas and volumes
- Staking-out function for measuring of constant distances
- Measurements can be displayed in metric or imperial units (choice of 4 options)
- 2-line illuminated display, showing a single distance measurement at a time
- Measurement is normally from the back of the unit but can also be from the front
- An audible bleep confirms each key press, change of function and completion of the measurement process

The DISTO™ D3 is compact and easy to use, being more robust than the D2 with a higher level of functionality. The D3 is also better suited for outdoor use, by virtue of its greater measuring range and its higher level of protection from moisture / water. Features of the D3 are as the D2 with the following additional features:

- Integrated tilt sensor measures angles up to ± 45°
